This is a 15 year old Springbank single malt, bottled in May 2023 at 46% ABV. It was matured entirely in sherry casks and is described as a sweet, old-style Springbank. It is non-chill-filtered and has no caramel colouring added.
On the nose there is dark chocolate, sugar and Christmas biscuits, with rope mingling with roasted almonds and burnt oak. The palate is creamy, with raisin bread, figs, vanilla and Brazil nuts, plus small touches of smoke. A few drops of water are suggested.
