A 35-year-old Campbeltown single malt from Springbank, distilled in 1967 and bottled in 2002 by Duncan Taylor for its Peerless range. It comes from a single cask, number 1943, which gave 214 bottles in 70cl at 40.5%, the natural strength of the cask. This was the first of a run of 1967 Springbanks that Duncan Taylor released between 2002 and 2007. It is described as an elegant, fruity old Springbank that tastes stronger than its strength suggests and still has a minerally bite.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
