A single cask Springbank from Campbeltown, distilled in 1968 and bottled in 2006 at 38 years old. It comes from the Dun Bheagan series by the independent bottler Ian MacLeod. The whisky was matured in a sherry hogshead, cask 616, which gave 192 bottles at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Classic sherry flavours run through it, and the gentle strength makes it easy to sip slowly.
