Springbank – 2003-2017 14 Year Old Single Cask 30th Anniversary Of Cadenhead's Edinburgh Shop (70cl, 57.1%)

A single cask Springbank from Campbeltown, distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2017 at 14 years old. J.A. Mitchell, the distillery's owner, released it at full cask strength to mark the 30th anniversary of the Cadenhead's shop in Edinburgh. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 57.1% ABV, equivalent to 100 proof in the old UK system. The whisky was matured for its whole life in a cask that formerly held Guadeloupe rum, rather than being finished in one. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration, and the outturn was 186 bottles.
