Springbank – 2012 Local Barley 11 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 55.1%)

Springbank Local Barley is an 11-year-old single malt from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, distilled in 2012 and bottled at 55.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition in the Local Barley series, which uses barley grown near the distillery. The nose is fruity and malty, with citrus, honey and a touch of oak. On the palate come orchard fruits, vanilla, toffee and gentle spice. The finish is long, with fruit, oak and a little smoke.
