This is the 2026 release of Springbank 21 Year Old, a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour.
It was matured across four cask types: 65% Port, 25% bourbon, 5% rum and 5% sherry. The Port-led recipe continues from the last couple of releases, and this batch runs a little more unctuous than the previous one.
The nose brings Medjool date, sticky toffee pudding, treacle, stewed plum and blood orange zest, with gentle peat behind. On the palate the smoke carries through with smoked fig, brown sugar, cigar box and blackberry, and the finish is earthy and savoury.
