This is a 25 year old Campbeltown single malt from Springbank, matured in sherry and Bourbon casks and bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured.
The nose is fruity, with raspberries and raisins, soft oak in the background and a little fine smoke. The palate is syrupy, with vanilla, banana and raspberries, then sea salt for a maritime note, while peat smoke and oak add spice. The finish is long, leaving salted barley, oak and grass.
