Springbank 5 Year Old 100 Proof (2025 Release) is a Campbeltown single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.1%, in line with the historic 100 Proof designation.
It was matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks. An oily texture, earthy peat and maritime freshness sit alongside citrus and creamy sweetness.
The nose offers citrus zest, vanilla cream, sweet malt, earthy peat smoke and coastal salt. The palate has lemon curd, barley sugar, peppery spice, salted butter and seaweed, with an oily, mouth-coating texture. The finish is long, with citrus oil, peat embers, malt sweetness and salinity.
