Springbank 5 Year Old 100 Proof is a Campbeltown single malt added to the distillery's core range in 2025. It is bottled at 57.1% ABV, close to cask strength, as a nod to the traditional British 100 Proof standard.
The first batch was matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is described as cream and ripe fruit sweetness with mineral notes, salted butter and a medium level of peat smoke. On the palate, fruity sweetness and an oily texture give way to smoke and a hint of spice. The finish is bittersweet, with oak and ash smoke.
