Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt that brings together single malts from all three Campbeltown distilleries. It is vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, and comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and it is non-chill-filtered.
The nose offers butterscotch, toffee apple and creamy caramel, with sea breeze, soft peat smoke and gentle spice. On the palate come salted caramel, vanilla fudge and stewed fruits alongside black pepper and a thread of peat. The finish is lingering and lightly smoky, with sweet malt, warm spice and coastal salinity.
