St Magdalene 1982 is a Lowland single malt distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2015 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Rare Old series, so it is either 32 or 33 years old. It is a small batch at 46%, bottled without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery, also known as Linlithgow, closed in 1983. Gordon & MacPhail released around half a dozen bottlings of the 1982 vintage between 2001 and 2023. This one is described as a gentler example of the distillery's character.
