This is a single cask St Magdalene, a Lowland single malt distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2023 at 40 years old by Gordon & MacPhail. It forms part of the Recollections Series #2 within their Private Collection. The whisky matured in cask 2100, a refill American hogshead, which gave 150 bottles at a natural cask strength of 54.5%. It was bottled without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. St Magdalene is also known as Linlithgow.
