Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Barrel Proof Batch #25A (75cl, 63.3%)

Stagg Barrel Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, formerly known as Stagg Jnr and described as the little brother of George T Stagg from the BTAC range. This is batch 25A, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 63.25% in a 75cl bottle. It is made from the distillery's low-rye Mashbill #1. The nose brings toasted cornbread, molasses and peach cobbler with a good dose of peppery wood spice. The high strength is evident on the palate, alongside red fruit of cherry, cranberry and strawberry, stroopwaffles and candied orange.
