Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky, USA. It is made from a low-rye mash bill and aged in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla and sweet corn with brown sugar, toffee, light oak, orange peel and a touch of mint. On the palate there is caramel fudge, vanilla bean and toasted oak, with cinnamon, clove, pepper, dark fruit, molasses and soft rye spice. The finish is medium to long, with vanilla, caramel and gentle oak spice.
