Stagg Batch 26A is the first 2026 batch release of Buffalo Trace's annual cask-strength bourbon, which is named for George T. Stagg. The range was called Stagg Jr until 2022. It is distilled at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky.
This batch is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 129.3 proof (64.65% ABV), in a 750ml bottle. No age statement is given.
On the nose it offers rich chocolate and brown sugar with a dark, sweet hint of oak. The palate brings dark cherry, caramel and vanilla with bold spice, and the finish is long and warming with clove, baking spice, charred oak and cherry-smoke.
