A single barrel bourbon from Blanton's, made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky and originally released for the Japanese market. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
Each bottle comes from a single barrel aged in Warehouse H. This edition is distinguished by its red Japan-only box, its label design and the Blanton's horse and jockey stopper.
The nose combines vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, cinnamon and citrus peel. The palate offers honey, light oak, brown sugar, baking spices and roasted nuts, followed by a long, warm, smooth finish with lingering oak and sweetness.
