Buffalo Trace – O.F.C. 1994 Vintage Bourbon (75cl, 45%)

The fourth O.F.C. Vintage release from Buffalo Trace, a bourbon distilled and put into the warehouse to rest in 1994. It is bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl crystal bottle with copper lettering set into the glass and a hand applied paper label. The back label records milestones from 1994. The bottle comes in a wooden display box with a provenance card that repeats the same information. Cherry leads the nose, with butterscotch, brown sugar and oak. Toasted caramel, cinnamon and oak mark the palate, and the long finish brings coffee, herbs and oak.
