Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon is the signature bourbon of Buffalo Trace Distillery, which stands on the banks of the Kentucky River and has been making bourbon for more than 200 years. It comes in a 750ml bottle at 45% ABV.
It was created in tribute to the buffalo and to the independent spirit of the pioneers who followed their trails.
The nose is thick and mature, with subtle spice, meadow grass, light molasses and leather. The palate starts pleasantly sweet with brown sugar and cinnamon, then turns dry with oak and leather. The finish is long and dry.
