Staoisha is a 9 year old Islay single malt from the Bunnahabhain distillery, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 by A.D. Rattray. It is bottled at 57.4% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour.
The whisky matured in a single bourbon hogshead, which gave 300 bottles. It comes in a tube and has a delicate gold colour.
On the nose there is grilled grapefruit, pan-fried white fish and lemon peel. The palate brings roasted hazelnuts, fatty peat and fiery cinnamon, and the finish is slick and oily.
