A seven year old Staoisha, distilled on 12 September 2018 and bottled on 9 February 2026. It is number 12 in Claxton's Exploration Series.
The whisky matured in a fresh Oloroso sherry barrique.
The nose brings plenty of barbecue smoke, smoked paprika, brine and raisins. The palate is sweet smoke, dry and earthy, with plenty of oak and more barbecue notes. The finish is long and dry, with a great deal of meaty smoke.
