Stork Club Single Malt

Stork Club Single Malt is a German single malt whisky from the Spreewood Distillery, which sits in the Spreewald biosphere reserve. Marked seasonal swings in temperature encourage the spirit to work closely with the wood during maturation. The whisky matures in casks from German winemakers, alongside ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and has a golden colour. The nose combines fine tropical fruit with vanilla and a little honey. The palate is harmonious and medium-bodied, and turns noticeably sweet with a little water. The finish stays fresh, with a gentle sweetness.
