Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey is an American single malt from the Stranahan's distillery in Denver, Colorado, in a 75cl bottle. It is made from locally sourced Colorado barley and Rocky Mountain water, produced in small batches and non-chill filtered.
Stranahan's was founded in 2004 by Jess Graber and George Stranahan, and became Colorado's first legal distillery since Prohibition. The whiskey is a full-bodied amber.
The nose offers cinnamon-butter, vanilla and warm caramel with fresh grain. The palate is rich, with vanilla, chocolate, caramel and spiced pear. The finish is warm and long, with hints of cayenne, tobacco, oak and aged leather.
