Strathclyde – 31 Year Old 1994 Fragrant Drops (45.1%)

This is a 31 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Strathclyde, distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2026 for the Fragrant Drops series. It matured in a single refill bourbon barrel and was bottled at 45.1%, without chill-filtration or added colour, in an outturn of 159 bottles. Over more than three decades the refill cask has kept the creamy sweetness of the grain spirit, adding vanilla, honey, toasted coconut and polished oak. Delicate orchard fruits, soft spice and buttery pastry notes are also described.
