This is a 7 year old Strathdearn from The Single Cask Family Series. The spirit was distilled on 1 July 2014 and filled into a single bourbon barrel, then bottled on 16 February 2022. The outturn was 239 bottles.
Nose and palate are robust and rich, with spicy, woody tones, red fruit and white grapes, followed by black pepper and dark chocolate. The finish brings barley and oak with red fruit.
