Stúfur – Sall Julewhisky #3 (50cl, 50%)

A Christmas whisky bottled at 50%, in a 50cl bottle, with an outturn of 700 bottles. It draws on the Icelandic legend of the 13 Yule Lads. The idea came from the Icelandic-born master distiller, who took the story from childhood. Stúfur is the third lad to arrive and the smallest of the brothers, who sneaks into the kitchen to steal frying pans and scrape out the crisp leftovers. The whisky is unpeated, made from pale malt of Prospect barley harvested in 2022. It spent three years in first-fill ex-port casks, then was finished in small ex-oloroso casks, a nod to Stúfur's size. The illustration is by Jon Gotlev.
