Sullivan's Cove – 12 Year Old 2013 Second-fill American Oak Cask TD0394 (70cl, 47.4%)

This is a single cask Tasmanian single malt from Sullivan's Cove, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2025 at 47.4% ABV. It is a 12 year old, and just 250 bottles were filled. The whisky matured in a second-fill American oak cask of 200 litres that had previously held an older batch of Sullivan's Cove single malt. With the first-fill char and heavy oak extraction already softened, the wood has a lighter hand, leaving the oily, fruit-forward Tasmanian pot-still spirit to lead. It is described as deeply textured, with creamy vanilla, soft malt and vibrant fruit.
