This is a single cask Sullivans Cove single malt, 14 years old and bottled at 47.5% vol in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in August 2006 and matured in a 300 litre American oak cask that had previously held an older batch of Sullivans Cove single malt.
The nose combines woody spices, dried fruit and nuts with glacé pineapple, dried mango and canned peaches, grounded by coconut, peanut butter and sandalwood. The palate is thick and textural, with coconut, dried apricot, nougat, roasting almonds, cloves and toffee apple. The finish brings raspberry jam, white chocolate and cocoa, ending on vanilla custard.
