This Sullivans Cove 16 Year Old is a Tasmanian single malt from a single second-fill French oak cask, TD0346, bottled at 47.3% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in December 2008 and decanted in February 2025 from a 300 litre cask, yielding 447 bottles.
Honeycomb, maple syrup, coriander seed and Assam tea mark the nose. The palate has sweet espresso-like tannin, vanilla bean paste, honey muffins and candied fruit, with cola, sherbet and glacé cherry. The finish is long, with black tea, cardamom, cinnamon and caramelised banana.
