Sullivans Cove – 17 Year Old American Oak Old & Rare Second Fill Single Cask TD0064 (70cl, 47.4%)

This is a 17 year old single cask single malt from Sullivans Cove, bottled at 47.4% in a 70cl bottle. Cask TD0064 was a 300-litre second-fill American oak cask that had previously held an older batch of Sullivans Cove single malt. It was filled in December 2005 and emptied after seventeen years and two months, yielding 446 bottles. The character is built on sweet citrus, tropical fruit and a subtle earthiness, balanced by gentle tannin and sweet old oak from the long maturation.
