Sullivans Cove – 17 Year Old Old & Rare French Oak Ex-Tawny Single Cask TD0187 (70cl, 47%)

This is a 17 year old single cask Tasmanian single malt from Sullivans Cove, matured in a first fill French oak cask that previously held Australian Tawny Port-style fortified wine. Cask TD0187 was filled in June 2007 and emptied in September 2024, after 17 years and 3 months. The 300 litre cask yielded 443 bottles at 47%. It belongs to the Old & Rare French Oak range, whose single casks are matured for a minimum of sixteen years. Notes for the range include juicy dark fruits, chocolate, spice, nuts and earthy herbal touches.
