This is a single cask Tasmanian single malt from Sullivans Cove, matured for 18 years in an American oak ex-bourbon cask. Cask HH0106 was filled in December 1999 and decanted in June 2018, after eighteen years and six months, and it gave 215 bottles at 47.5% abv. Each bottle comes in a handmade solid oak presentation box with a signed letter of authenticity.
The nose offers banana, walnut, crème caramel, liquorice, kumquat, black pepper, camphor and old oak. The palate is creamy and sweet, with banoffee pie, meringue, macadamia, sweet pastry, toffee apple and milk chocolate fudge. The finish carries vanilla, coconut and preserved fruit, with a malty cocoa note that lingers.
