Sullivans Cove – 18 Year Old American Oak Barrel Single Cask HH0296 (70cl)

This is an 18 year old single cask single malt from Sullivans Cove in Australia, matured in a 200-litre American oak barrel that previously held bourbon. Barrel HH0296 was filled on 9 May 2000 and decanted on 10 September 2018, yielding 150 bottles. It comes in a 70cl bottle, in a handmade solid oak presentation box with a signed letter of authenticity. The American Oak Bourbon Single Cask style is built on a strong malt backbone, with flavours of vanilla, caramel, stone fruit, white flowers and powerful oak. As a single cask, it reflects the character of this one barrel.
