Sullivans Cove – 18 Year Old American Oak Single Cask HH0296 (70cl)

This is an 18 year old Australian single malt from Sullivans Cove, taken from a single 200 litre American oak barrel, HH0296, that previously held bourbon. The cask was filled on 9 May 2000 and decanted on 10 September 2018, producing 150 bottles. The American oak bourbon single cask is the defining Sullivans Cove style, with a strong malt backbone. It is usually described as showing vanilla, caramel, stone fruit, white flowers and powerful oak, though each single cask release expresses its own barrel.
