Sullivans Cove – 18 Year Old American Oak Single Cask (Old & Rare) HH0273 (70cl)

This is an 18 year old Australian single malt from Sullivans Cove, taken from a single 200 litre American oak barrel, HH0273, that previously held bourbon. The cask was filled on 28 April 2000 and decanted on 4 December 2018, producing 173 bottles. The American oak bourbon single cask is the defining Sullivans Cove style, with a strong malt backbone. It is usually described as showing vanilla, caramel, stone fruit, white flowers and powerful oak, though each single cask release expresses its own barrel.
