Sullivans Cove 18 Year Old is a single cask Tasmanian single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 48% abv. It was distilled in May 2000 and matured in an American oak ex-bourbon cask for eighteen years and seven months, until it was decanted in December 2018.
The cask yielded only 161 bottles, and each comes in a handmade solid oak box with a signed letter of authenticity. It is one of the oldest single cask releases from Sullivans Cove.
The nose is banana, walnut, creme caramel and liquorice, with kumquat, black pepper, camphor and old oak. The palate is creamy and sweet, and the finish is long and malty with a cocoa line.
