A 17-year-old Tasmanian single malt from Sullivans Cove, drawn from single cask TD0083 and bottled at 49.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The cask was a 300-litre American oak hogshead that had previously held only Sullivans Cove spirit, a style the distillery calls ex-Sullivans. It was filled on 15 March 2006 and decanted on 11 October 2023, giving 402 bottles.
The nose is fruity, with sour cherries, sherbet, cinnamon, star anise and blackcurrant. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with figs, peaches, raspberry jam and quince paste. The finish brings chocolate, roasted pumpkin, fennel and treacle.
