This is a Japanese single malt distilled at Hakushu, a distillery surrounded by forest at the foot of the Southern Japan Alps. It was aged entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels. The whisky is non-chill filtered, which is described as bringing a great deal of creamy sweetness.
