Kakubin Yellow Label is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory. Its name means square in Japanese, a reference to the shape of the bottle.
It has a mild taste and suits mixing, particularly in a highball or a mizuwari, where 4.5cl of whisky is stirred with 9cl of mineral water over ice. It can also be drunk neat, where a hint of honey comes through.
