Suntory – Reserve Old Whisky Silky

Suntory Reserve Old Whisky Silky is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory's Reserve line, which was introduced in 1969 and relaunched in 1984 as the Reserve Silky variant. It blends malt and grain whisky from the Hakushu and Yamazaki distilleries. Its flavour is described as richer and more savoury than modern formulations. The nose offers oak, cinnamon, raisins, citrus peel and a little smoke. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with dark fruit, sherried sweetness, soft smoke and balanced oak spice. The finish is long and warming, with cinnamon, vanilla, sweet malt and pepper.
