Suntory The Yamazaki Islay Peated is a Japanese single malt made at Yamazaki, Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle and pairs Japanese single malt character with a distinctive Islay peat influence.
The nose brings earthy peat smoke, subtle floral notes and a hint of sweet vanilla. On the palate a gentle peatiness gives way to ripe fruit, citrus zest and a touch of spice, with a smooth texture. The finish is long and warming.
