Yamazaki 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from Suntory, in a 750ml bottle. It is the flagship single malt of Yamazaki, the first and oldest malt distillery in Japan.
The whisky is a blend of components aged in American oak, Spanish oak and Japanese Mizunara oak. Its colour is pure gold.
The nose brings peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove, candied orange and vanilla, with Mizunara in the background. Coconut, cranberry and butter appear on the palate, and the long finish carries sweet ginger and cinnamon.
