Yamazaki Golden Promise is a Japanese whisky from Suntory, bottled at 48% ABV. It is made with Golden Promise barley, a variety first grown in Scotland in the 1960s and known for its flavour and malting characteristics. The whisky is aged in American oak casks. Together with the barley, this accentuates the Yamazaki character, bringing a rich, malty quality with soft, fruity and citrus notes.
