Yamazaki 18 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Yamazaki distillery, added to the core range in 1992.
It is a vatting in which 80% of the whiskies were matured in sherry butts, with the remainder from Mizunara and American oak.
The notes run to dark fruits, rich sherry sweetness and Mizunara oak, with chocolate, dried berries and warm spices leading into a long, velvety finish.
