Talisker 10 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made at the island's only distillery, on the west coast, which has produced only malt whisky since 1831. The character is salty and spicy, with a distinct peat flavour. The whisky is also used in Johnnie Walker and Drambuie. The nose is sharply heathery with a hint of seaweed. The palate is full, lightly sweet and balanced, warm and rich, and it fades slowly.
