Talisker 18 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Skye. Talisker was founded in 1830 by the brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill and is the oldest working distillery on the island. It is owned by Diageo. The distillery is known for a maritime, smoky and peppery style that reflects the harsh climate and surrounding sea of Skye. This 18 year old combines maritime smoke with sweet caramel and dried fruit, and finishes with spice.
