This is an eight-year-old Island single malt from Talisker, released as 'Tidal Churn' in the Special Releases 2024 collection. It takes its inspiration from the tides around the Isle of Skye. It was matured in lightly re-toasted casks, which are said to bring extra sweetness, spice and smoky depth to the distillery's maritime style. The whisky is described as peppery and smoky, with sea salt, citrus oils and warming vanilla.
