Talisker – Dark Storm 1L (1litre, 45.8%)

Talisker – Dark Storm 1L is a whisky from Talisker (Islands). Bottled at 45.8% ABV, 1litre. Talisker was founded by two brothers, Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill in 1830 and until 1928 practised triple distillation. The distillery was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in November 1960, including commissioning identical stills to those that had been destroyed in the fire. In 1998 it was part of Diageo’s Classic Malts original line up and in 2014 it became the 10th best selling single malt in the world and demand keeps growing. Recent releases include Talisker Skye and Talisker Neist Point. The smokiest ever Talisker. This Travel retail exclusive was released after the Talisker Storm and was designed to reflect the distillery’s character. Matured in heavily charred oak casks for flavours of blackcurrant, liquorice and powerful smoke. Please note minor creasing and tearing to carton. Please examine the images of the bottle.
