Talisker Distillers Edition Amoroso Cask is the 2022 release of Talisker's double-matured single malt, from the distillery at Carbost on the Isle of Skye. It is bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The second maturation takes place in American oak casks seasoned with Amoroso sherry. Talisker was founded in 1830 by the brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill.
The flavour is described as luscious, sweet fruit alongside the dry peat smoke and peppery notes that mark the distillery's whisky.
