Talisker – Distillers Edition 2022 (70cl, 45.8%)

Talisker Distillers Edition 2022 is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. Talisker was established in 1830. The whisky matured first in American oak and was then finished in Amoroso sherry casks, a medium-sweet variant of Oloroso. The distillery's worm tub condensers contribute to its peppery, maritime character. The nose offers dried fruit, sea air and a little peat smoke with caramel, vanilla and warming spices. On the palate, sweet berries and dried fruit meet pepper, smoke, dark chocolate and sea salt, and the finish is long and warming, ending in gentle oak dryness.
