Talisker Distillers Edition is an annual limited release from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon or ex-sherry casks, then finished in fortified wine casks such as Montilla Fino or Pedro Ximénez sherry butts. It keeps Talisker's bold, peaty and maritime character, and the finishing casks can bring dried fruit, dark chocolate, toffee or subtle spice. Peat, salt and pepper sit alongside a softer, sweeter note from the finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
